The "Eswatini Pavilion" has been joining the 2022 Taipei International Food Exhibition. Enterprises from Eswatini have been invited to exhibit their products, showcasing products such as: honey, chili sauce, jam, moringa tea, essential oils, marula oil and sugar, etc. On June 22, Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen has attended the opening ceremony. During the event, Wang Zhenquan, the former chef of the royal family of Eswatini, has prepared exquisite meals, using delicacies from Eswatini. Students from Eswatini have also been invited to present traditional dances. The opening ceremony has successfully attracted attention.
The pavilion has featured 11 Eswatini enterprises to showcase food products this year. Among all exhibitors, the Black Mamba's Chili Sauce has won the 2017, 2018 and 2020 Great Taste Awards in the UK. Honey Wise's eucalypt honey, Eswatini Kitchen Co.'s chili sauce and jam, and Swazi Secrets' marula fruit oil are products that have been popular among local buyers and consumers over the years. Other products, such as moringa tea, grapefruit, citrus, chili sauce and sugar are also shared great reputation in the local market.
